Five years
young, Trofeo
is now going
strong, providing
two distinct
yet related
services:
Fine, Archival
Custom Framing- services include high-quality, archival custom framing, specializing in elegant, timeless design work and skilled craftsmanship. Trofeo also offers in-home appointments, art placement consulting and conservation resource;
Fine Art & Portrait Photography- , services include artistic

Bio:
Sara Raine Tro was born and raised in the quiet town of Hastings-on-Hudson, just 30 miles north of NYC, where she was treated to an unusual mix of small town charm and big city energy. Her interests in the arts began early, and with artistic parents, her future in that arena was almost inevitable.
After graduating from high school, Sara chose to continue her education and attend art school at the New York State College of Ceramics, School of Art and Design at Alfred University, in (very) upstate NY. After four years of creating and critiquing artwork, choreographing dance performances, discussing all things artistic, and shoveling serious amounts of snow, she graduated in 1996 and leapt out into the world, ready for a new adventure. After a three-month trip to Europe, an eight month long internship at the Aperture Foundation’s Paul Strand Archive, and a three month photographic exploration of the U.S., she randomly landed in Seattle in 1998, and fell in love with a city. For five and a half years, she managed a high-end frame shop in Madison Park, and in 2003, transitioned from there to open her own business, Trofeo.
These days, Sara spends most of her time on her business, and in her “down time” enjoys relaxing with friends, watching movies, cooking with her husband, exploring nature’s wild places with her camera, and cuddling with her three incredible cats.
